Music On The Lawn 2023

Our 2^nd Music On The Lawn event on Sunday 13 August was a sell-out, attracting 175 members and guests who enjoyed music by Barry Owen and the Main Attraction and a BBQ provided by Calnan’s Butchers of Watlington.

Although the weather was much cooler than last year, the rain held off for us and we were able to enjoy another fantastic day dancing, picnicking and socialising. Guests arrived by car, via the towpath, some in their own boats moored at Remenham and others courtesy of the Sea Cadet Ferry Service from their Wargrave Road base. Our St John Ambulance team were ready and waiting to help if needed but, thankfully, were able to spend most of their time dancing along to the infectious music!

The ambience of Remenham Club was enjoyed well after the music had stopped, so we conclude that the majority of people went home happy!
